Life isn't a song, or a summer or a rainy day. Life is complicated, intellegent, intriguing. Life is this living breathing organism... but mostly it's dying. Each dragging breathe you watch someone else take is there eventual footstep towards the end of the dotted line. Life is not about trying, or how busy you were or everything you've forgotten. Life is not about holding someone's hand, sharing a moment or feeling that cold breeze you've waited all summer for. Life is not intertwined, a straight line or some complex maze. Life get's no trophy, barely a hand shake and little to no thanks. We ask ourselves why are we living, just to be dying. Why do we exist, remember the past and never know the future. Why do we fly kites, share night lights and agree to ridiculous make overs. We seek answers to questions that didn't exist until we thought them, find no gold under the rainbow and stop believing in Santa. We live in fear, in love, in advice, in guilt and never find a cure. But we have luck, we have time, we have hope all we need is the will. We can create, we can lay in a field and watch the clouds go. We can... and that is life.

Everything I Learned From DSW

I have learned that the phrase, "such a tool" is always relevant when referring to a manager... even if you are that manager. That as an associate you can never be thanked enough and as a manger you're never thanked. That working hard will not always get you ahead... in fact you're likely to never get ahead. That the people have always made the job great, not the job. That I am the coolest person I know, because no one else will think you are if you're not. That everyone I've met post high school that's worth a damn, I meet at work... with a few exceptions. That talking shit is always fun but will always get you in trouble. You can find love in the work place, but more often you will find lust. People will be nice, they will also be mean, sad, depressed, hopeful, funny and smart just like you. I've learned that no matter what you will always have an effect on someone's life be it small and fleeting like most things in life. You can not teach all that you know because you learned from many people along the way. That you should never forget where you started or be afraid to go back there. Pride is pointless when swallowed daily. That nine out of ten times the phrase, "no offense" is used incorrectly since the person saying it is not saying anything to offend you, but rather the person they're talking about. Luck is real and so is Love. People from different walks of life can always find something to complain about together. That the sad reality is that without constant effort you will lose track of people. Even though I am happy to be gone, I am also sad to be leaving. That after leaving three stores before, it still isn't any easier to say goodbye. That you will never truly know if you've left your mark on someone because they will more than likely never tell you... but you can hope that you meant something to them even if they forget when they're fifty. That regardless of age, color or national origin everyone deserves a chance, even a second or third but no more than six. That if you don't have a boss that believes in you, you will fail, you will fall, you will not dream. That rules are meant to be bent and broken in the name of customer service, because customer service has no rules. The best customers are the happy ones. Something I just learned to day is that even if you've answered the question a thousand times before it's still the first time for the person asking. This one's all opinion but woman make better store managers than men... or at least I get along better when my store manager's a woman. And lastly that humor can fix any situation, you just have to find the right joke. If you worked with me or for me, then thank you. I may not remember every one of the well over a 100 people I worked with but I will forever remember your faces and I try like hell to remember your name.

Again Thank You,

-Dustin Cabeal

Street Fighter IV

I swear to God that if madcatz doesn't start pumping out those fucking fighting joysticks that I'm going to punch every Gamestop employee I ever meet in the face. It is fucking insane that I can't buy a god damn joystick without paying $500 bucks for it. I saw some asshole selling his for 9,000 dollars! I settle for buying a shitty looking hori fighting stick with it's dumb ass button layout and I couldn't even get one of those god damn things! The sad fucking part is that street fighter iv dropped to tenth on xbox live meaning that no one wants to play online until they have a fucking fighting stick. PS I know I'm swearing a lot so shut up if you feel the need to submit pointless comments stating that. This is not a paid news outlet so I can swear and come off like an un-intellegent prick if I want to. We will now have to question just about every aspect of human life to see what is truth and what is a construct.
There are exciting times ahead and I know we will win!
The Revolution is Now.
Tim for Zeitgeist
I have joined a site to get everyone talking about the movie. Read more of my words and add a few of your own at: win.http://11thday.org/
Click the picture and look for Zeitgeist.

I just thought maybe someone else was interested in this, that didn't take the time to actually click the article and see the comments.

Here's an UPDATE

Tim said...

If Zeitgeist doesn’t get you off your ass Sept 15 this will!
Pass it on!
________________________________________
This is an excellent companion to Zeitgeist and verifies what Zeitgeist says.
http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-515319560256183936&q=money+Ch angers&total=155&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=1
This will curdle your set! See at least the last half so you get a perspective on today but see the whole thing so you know like me just how long they have been doing this. The churches are money lenders you know from Zeitgeist and these are their minions! See the connection?
This must reach everyone!
We need to especially cover the East, Midwest, and South with this information! Those people are the ones who will most easily be able to go to DC. We need them to especially see the truth. Also we need to change plans for mass demonstrations in home cities and must concentrate our efforts on Washington. Together we succeed and divided we all fall. Don't let them keep us divided
Zeitgeist isn't meant to make everyone happy, that isn't its purpose! Without the religious background you won’t know just who started the whole thing and who has been stealing us all blind all these years and giving little in return. Just why do we have to pay for these preachers and priests? It is time to turn them into helping institutions and not the spiritual conformity teaching institutions we now see. Instead all will convert to helping save this world and teaching people how to break away from their own teachings and see the world and our relation with the universe. They and the money lenders will all change to non profits and the world’s safety net.
Think of it no new taxes and everything taken care of by the Elitists.
It is a wakeup call perhaps for the last time for mankind. This Revolution is of the most damning information ever released getting to the most people possible with the best tool ever made to accomplish this. This is a revolution for the masses done in complete safety for all. All you do is see the movie and understand it and then tell your friends. You then have something in your hands to use to put pressure on them.
I take the template, lightly, of the Magna Carte as what we the people of the world need to a sway the power of these moneychangers these Masons of old that I have found a very long history of indeed. See the historical references of this and much, much more here; http://s8int.com/giants9.html

Google anomalous artifacts and ancient anomalies and read away. The History has also been changed.
I believe it will take something of this magnitude in order to secure the final freedom of mankind to be as an equal to every other sentient being on this planet and as such to be Respected by all others.
I don't know the exopolitics of it but I am sure there are those who do and could lend a major hand to obtain freedom for their children and themselves also.
I would be interested in seeing someone in the know weighing in on this.
Their have been over 50 million views of Zeitgeist. We need to get these 50 million to Washington on Sept. 15th.
In view of the plans for a large military presence being deployed it is clear to me they are taking a last stand attitude. They are expecting the Custer thing all over again.
If that is what they expect then I say why don't we give it to them?
Instead of shooting them we will overwhelm with sheer numbers.
Understand folks, we have them on the ropes. We the people who know the truth are the most powerful weapon for change ever in history. This will probably be the last chance we will have for freedom, for a very long time. After Sept. expect the most comprehensive crackdown on dissidents ever to happen. Everyone will be affected.
If we don't take this opportunity to demand the resignation of the administration and for good measure put the 3 branches of government on notice to shape up or ship out IT IS LOST. When Nancy Pelosi takes over we will have to put as much pressure on to demand she restore all freedoms and rights and cancel the Patriot Act immediately and bring our military children home from around the world. We now have this Black Water Army to contend with and we need our military to protect us from them.
We must also demand the destruction of the Central Banking System and conversion to that of a non profit for the world. They have stolen our money and made us slaves for 10 of thousands or more years so they get the tab to fix things. I believe this is to be their ultimate purpose to mankind.
WE DON'T HAVE TIME FOR IMPEACHMENT WE MUST DEMAND RESIGNATION.
This military deployment in DC is with some of the most sophisticated anti personnel devises ever made. They immobilize with microwave transmitters and high frequency sound devices to disable protesters. Apparently they also deploy lasers as a blinding weapon. The Israelis used them lately in Lebanon according to reports.
These are the weapons they will deploy. We must be prepared for this.
The only viable weapon we have is millions of people converging on Washington as they did in Spain after the bombings. They changed the results of the election almost overnight.
This may be our last chance. We dare not fail!
We need at least 20 million people to converge on Washington to make them think twice about pulling something. Now far too many people know just what has been going on and know where to look for it. They must be made so scared to come against us they will have no choice but to attack and lose or give up and join us.
It happened in Russia, Spain, Romania, The Ukraine etc.........
It happened there and it can happen here. Is everything perfect? Is everything always 100% accurate? No. Why though? Because we each write our own truths. That's why I find it funny when the internet says something isn't true, or that it can't find the facts on the internet to back that up or what not... finding facts on the internet is the dumbest thing in the world. By saying that you are saying that you are relying on someone else to have entered the facts 100% accurately and without error onto the internet. Meaning a person created whatever page you are viewing and taking as fact. I've been reading a lot of criticisms about Zeitgeist lately and I would have to say that the same thing with SiCKO is now beginning to happen with this movie. The nitpickers and the point-missers are digging in and do what they do best... changing the subject. I read a review, and you can find it if you search the Zeitgeist comments in the archive, and basically it was saying that Zeitgeist is just trying to make you mad, and with anger we'll get what we want but basically be lured into something worst. Personally I do thing we should be angry, I think will anger, enough people will do something about the shitty state the world is in. Does that mean that everyone should run around with pitchforks and torches? No, anger does not need to dominate the emotions and the solution, but it's a hell of a motivator! I'm glad that people are seeing the movie, I'm glad that I'm helping people see the movie and will continue to do so. But I will never give a lazy answer like I fact checked this movie on the internet... that's not research. Research can not be done on the couch, I'm sorry it just doesn't work that way. One site actually said there were no credits, no there isn't. But there's a lovely Source Page that pretty much tells you everything that would be in the credits. Really the site meant to say, "There's no credit for who made this." Since I don't believe we can grow or solve any problems by suppressing each other's first amendment rights I posted the comment that "inspired" me to remind everyone not to get lost in the argument, not to get lost in the "facts" and the copyright, don't let people change the subject until we've changed the world. Here's a link for my Zeitgeist article so you can check out the comments and read someone else's train of thought on this subject.

Anit-War Radio - Interviews

You may or may not know about Anti-War Radio, if you're in an area that's lucky enough to actually get it on your radio then you already know. I haven't had the chance to watch the movie yet having worked most of the afternoon into the night. But yesterday I read someone's early review of Superbad. Here's where I'll direct you to the review that way you can read it before continuing if you so choose to. My main problem with his review is that this person is the reason 'Arrested Development' was canceled. Frankly I'm too tired to look up everyones real names and if you really care then you've probably already done so before reading this. The star of the movie (Yes George Micheal from 'Arrested Development') is pretty much acting the exact same way as he did in the show, but the reviewer didn't get his timing or what the director was doing with him... the kid is a frickin' comedic genius but this guy couldn't take the fat kid's nuts out of his mouth long enough to watch anyone else's performance. He calls the kid "amazing", don't get me wrong the kid looks good in the film, but I saw Accepted and he's got a long ways to go before he's amazing. People who loved '40-Year Old Virgin' and 'Knocked Up' are the new Kevin Smith fan's. If you've ever been a KS fan before you'll probably know what I'm talking about. His fan's will defend the man's honor to the point that Kevin Smith has no fault's and is never wrong. Now I still like Kevin Smith, but I'm sure he and I could agree that he's not perfect and that no one is, but his rapid fans would argue other wise. Well this is the new breed of that same mind set. I like '40-Year Old Virgin' but it wasn't the best comedy I had ever witnessed. I didn't even bother seeing 'Knocked Up' because I was so tired of hearing '40-Year Old Virgin' in the trailers and hearing about how life changing the movie was. I saw the main guy from 'Knocked Up' at Comic Con... I could take him. That's all I'll say... that and his entourage wasn't that big or pretty. When I see SuperBad, I'll write a review and I'll try to make it about the movie not about how much I loved the director's previous work, or how great that one guy was in 'Grandma's Boy'. I really feel like saying more here but I'm not. I figured this would be a good break from all the political stuff lately, you can't forget to laugh, so go watch a comedy but try not to forget how evil the government is while watching it. Then read V for Vendetta, because it's good!

When's the next 9/11?

Watch all the video's if you haven't already.

So I'm going to post an excerpt from Zeitgeist - The Movie's site then I'm going to talk more on everything you've read and seen.

On Aug. 4th 2007, the Senate passed the Bush backed 'spy bill', which preserves & expands the illegal domestic spying program. I hope people are educated enough by this time to know that such legislations have nothing to do with Terrorism, and everything to do with monitoring and controlling American dissent.

Furthermore, on May 9 2007, Bush signed the
National Security and Homeland Security Presidential Directive,
which gives Bush near full dictatorial powers in the event of a "National Emergency". Bush, and the people he works for, will be able to do ANYTHING they want if a "National Emergency" is deemed. All they need is a "New 9/11".
The US Constitution will no longer be applicable.

In regards to this Directive, Paul Craig Roberts, a former Assistant
Secretary of the Treasury during the Reagan administration, has come
out and said he feels the White House is preparing to STAGE A NEW 9/11
and the executive order is designed to capitalize on such an attack,
specifically to impose Martial Law and Invade Iran.

So hopefully you've watched the video's and read the above information. If you've watch Zeitgeist then you'll remember them mentioning the North American Union, which Ron Paul mentions and no one bats an eye to it in his interview. He knows this information yet doesn't think 9/11 was caused by our government. He associates with a man who believes 9/11 was caused by our government, but still he does not believe. In the first clip Bush says, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11. Go here to hear what it really had to do with. Basically Sadam was going to flood the market with oil, and we wanted total control. The reason were still in Iraq is because the families that control the oil aren't signing over exclusive rights to the big oil companies. Listen to the whole thing and you'll see a lot of things happening with this President and War become clear.

Paul Craig Roberts (2 paragraphs above) believes that they are planning another 9/11. But what sense does it make? Bush is almost out of office, so why bother trying to control the country an further? After FDR served for 12 years, we created the 22nd amendment to the constitution. I never understood how we could amend the constitution and Zeitgeist covers that in part too. What if while Bush is amend and over turning constitutions, he piggy backed one the amended the 22nd? And what if after another 9/11 event (Katrina doesn't count since it was used just to get more oil) we were in Martial Law, and he was unable to give up power? After all if there was a war on American soil, who would want to change Presidents mid way through? So I ask, when is the next 9/11? How many more will have to die? Why is everyone so sure that Bush is on the way out? Shouldn't you be afraid of what the puppeteers have planned to keep the best puppet alive in office? Something to think about as everyone begins back Presidential candidates and preparing to far into the future.

Warren Ellis trusts Greg Palast and so do I!

If you've never read a comic by Warren Ellis, you're really missing out. But if you've never heard Warren Ellis speak, then you've definitely missed out. Well I can't talk because I missed hearing him speak at this years Comic Con and I really regret it! Newsarama was kind enough to post a list of 44 things said by Warren Ellis, after reading 1-43 and laughing to myself I came to number 44 on the list. 44) Warren Ellis trusts Greg Palast. So I asked myself, "Who is Greg Palast?" so I clicked on the link that I've reposted here, and it took me to Greg's site. And I began reading and reading and listening to interviews and reading until I was convinced that there was an honest journalist out there. If I had a list of 35 things I said, trust Greg Palast would be on my list as well. Please check out the site, and if you feel that there's any substance to it, that it's doing something good for humanity then consider donating to the site. I do not in any way shape or form represent the site and have literally just stumbled upon it just today, but again I think if you're going to donate to something it should be to a worthy cause and by doing so you'll keep feeding me and others information about this corrupt government that we are all just barely surviving.

Zeitgeist Movie

So I posted this link at the end of my last post but I feel it still needs it's own post to further highlight the importance of the movie. The movie is a documentary that pretty much explains a lot of mysteries of Religion, 9/11, Money and the Government in general. Frankly after watching it you should be scared, you should be upset and you most definitely should be MAD! Everyone needs to know about these things and should be informed and not by the current Media faucet because they are all controlled by the people behind the curtain, the people trying to destroy society and the earth as we know it. The film runs about 2 hrs long but frankly the information provided is worth it and it will seem like nothing. Also do a search for North American Union and you will be surprised to find out it's existences and then ask, why is Bush pushing for amnesty for everyone that's already in the country? Why do we have boarder patrol when there's no border? Stop living under the illusion of Freedom! It's gone, democracy is gone, FEAR is controlling us and you need to be afraid for the right reasons or we'll never fight back.

http://www.zeitgeistmovie.com/

SiCKO

So it's been awhile I've been busy with my other blog and frankly haven't had the time I would like to spend on my "Personal Opinion's" blog as I would like. My other site reviews things, any thing in fact tomorrow I will finally post my body wash review, I know how exciting but maybe one day I'll direct people to products that are good and save someone money on crap they don't need. But this is the first time I've come across something you can't really review. I just got done watching SiCKO, Micheal Moore's latest Doc about Health Care. As the movie states it's about the 53 million people insured in America not the un-insured. But really I think it's about Health Care in general not just America.

Let me state that I'm not Anti-Micheal Moore or really Pro-Micheal Moore, I like what he does, I like his movies, I liked the Awful Truth, I like his interviews, I like that he's got the guts to do something in this complacent Society that we live in, I like that he brings up how America use to be, I like the guy. But he's human, and he makes mistakes and a film is more powerful if you pick and chose the numbers that will make people more disgusted but to argue over $29 to me seems ridiculous. What am I talking about? I'm talking about the Moore vs Sanjay on Larry King Live, where once again we everyone was arguing facts rather than talking about the issue.

That's my problem with his movies. They do raise awareness, they do bring up the issue and frankly no one disagrees with them. Sanjay himself said he agreed with Micheal Moore but chose to argue Facts and Grammar rather than saying, "Okay, how do we fix it?" Media defeats Moore every single time because they saturate him on all the channels until everyone is just tired of hearing about the subject and for as much intelligence as the man has he can't figure out what they're doing to him. I would like to see him fund someone else to make a movie about a subject worth a damn and remain secret about it, them maybe the media wouldn't kill the story and making it so annoying you don't care ONCE AGAIN!

Again, everyone agrees with his issues, but they argue and nit-pick over facts and grammar and one-sided views rather than trying to actually fix the issue or present something else that either completly discredits it or supports it. Why can't anyone in the media simply say hey he's right but damn look at this number which makes it even worse! Everyone talks but no one acts, so instead of him bringing up the issues let someone else do it so that we can get something done. The media is practically controlled by the government as it is. Finally I'm ending with a link to a movie that brings up some real issues, take from it what you will just like everything else in life but this movie scared the shit out of me. zeitgeistmovie.com

PS the poster is exactly how I feel when I go to the doctor, a scary man with a glove telling me to bend over!

Flash

"Is it possible?"
"Well I don't know Barry. Both Men are silent, their fears filling the room and ending the conversation.

"Don't worry Barry, the Kid will be alright."

Jay puts his hand on Barry's shoulder only for a second before running out of the room. Of course it looks as if his hand is still there for a moment but Barry can see that he's already gone.

Barry walks over to his apartment window and leans against the glass and sighs. As he looks up something catches his eye under the street lamp across the street. His mouth drops as his fearful eyes focus in on the Black Flash.

"No it can't be."

The Black Flash smiles at Barry tilting his head ever so slightly to highlight his crooked jaw. In a very Cartoon manner the Black Flash raises one foot up as if he's going to speed away, but plants the foot back down solidly on the ground. He begins running as slow as possible slowly, slowly, ever so slowly turn his head back and looking at Barry. Barry thinks about the creepy smile being given to him and how it beats the Joker's and half a dozen other crazies locked in Arkham, any day.

"Barry?"

A woman says from the door.

It happened again!

Sometimes the internet is freaking cool. I wonder if anyone has any idea just how much we could use the internet for good rather than meager crimes? On two different occasions I have written a review for an Indie Comic only to have that company find my review and link it on their site. Now this may not seem like much for anyone but I thought this was really cool. This first time was for Comic site and the second for my own blog. The comic site has been around for... I don't know several years since I've known of them and I was as far as I know the first to have an actually comic company read my review for a book. Probably because Indie Comic's are always looking for positive press to help sell more issues but also because I think they care more than the big boys which are mostly corporate toys these days. Don't get me wrong I still love reading Marvel and DC but I wish that they had more heart when it came to their overall craft. Even with the talent pool they have, they still seem to crap all over fantastic stories every week. So I'm writing this because I pumped that the company posted my review and took it for what it's worth but also because I'm a little sad that the comic site is now mostly reviews of Marvel and DC books and regurgitated movie news that can be found on 100's of other sites. Occasionally I'll read an article/blog/whatever you want to call it, and see someone trying but it's still more of a novelty than anything else. A bunch of irc nerds that have been given the chance to voice their opinion and all they can think to do is tell you why something sucks, or repost someone else's news breakthrough. One day when I have the time I'll show them how it's done.

Some thoughts for the day

I wonder if people believe me when I say I don't drink? I wonder if they believe me when I say I've barely even tried a beer? I suppose when some of the most important people in raising you were alcoholics, it changes your mind about drinking. It truly is something I'll never understand, why anyone would want to change their chemical balance to a state that makes your body feel and look like shit. I also don't understand why smoking and drug use are such a common day activity in people's lives. Perhaps because I'm over weight I see things a bit differently, since I figure food is trying to kill me why bother harming my body any further? I am eating healthier, but I still lack the time it takes to make food that's healthy for myself. How come when I tell someone with all my heart don't fucking do that I swear to God I'll kill you if I catch you doing that, that they still do it? How can you follow up on that with someone you care about and would never want to hurt or disappoint? How can you help others when you can barely help yourself? How do you hide disappointment? I guess I know how my parents feel with me. I watched Stranger than Fiction the other day. I love it when a movie inspires me to be a better person, to change my bad habits and treat people better. How I use to, before the world makes you bitter, before everyone tries to take advantage of you, before everyone cuts you off without using a turn signal. We should all try to behave like those characters that don't exist in the real world, someone needs to. I am doubting my own abilities in the only field of work I want to be in. I hate it when people tell me I have a talent for writing, yet I have nothing for them to read. How annoying that must be for them, to put faith in someone that hasn't delivered once. Full of ideas and crap, but no finished products. I am tired and frustrated now. Goodnight.

Hiedi-Ho!

So after a long absents, mainly due to Scanning Comic Books, I have returned. Check out the links to the side they have been updated to make it easier for everyone to find cool things, and the top one is my new review site Reviewing The World... So You Don't Have To! Underneath that is my friends Asian Review site, he's trying to get picked up by Yesasia.com so check it out. One day when I actually watch an Asian movie again I'll submit a review for him to post on his site. One day... The main point of this post was to say, "Hey" and let anyone (Friends and Family) know that I'll be posting again. Maybe so more weird short stories and if your lucky some real scripts that I've been working on. Also I'd love to post my own internet comic on here one day and maybe when I get off my tush and write it, it'll actually get made. So check back for more! and GO PITTSBURG PIRATES! But I kept reading some of there books, starting with all 10 of the Batman tie ins, then the 6 Superman tie ins. But then finally there was something worth while Identity Crisis, which was practically perverted by all there off-shoots and must read tie-in's to understand the whole story. But I got into DC, Green Lantern Rebirth then the start of the new series, then came there big Cross-Over Infinite Crisis, which even though again you had to buy a crap load of extra books to get the whole story it was still really good and written by a guy who doesn't get enough credit for his work Geoff Johns. Well what the article above is about is the Infinite Crisis Hardcover release and the changed material in the book, which can only be found in the book and will affect the DC universe. Lame! Also they change things because it makes it convent for future story lines they can bring people back and explore other parallel worlds, it's lame. DC we've had enough of your parallel worlds and how they directly effect the normal world at least with Marvel they always revert back to the real world and then there done. I was so interested in seeing a DC universe where they couldn't just blame everything on a parallel world or run out of ideas and go straight a dead parallel world. The whole crisis was suppose to end all the half ass story telling but they couldn't do it. It was suppose to change the history and make everything fit and make sense instead of leaving open wounds, well now the wounds are starting to heal but they went and ripped them back open again. It really made it pointless to keep up with the dc universe but I will probably cut back on my dc books and resort to just downloading them, and I will not buy there next crossover event. I'm tempted not to buy 52 anymore I just don't see the point since why did I read IC just to have the story changed to make for more convenient writing? Writing good stories is hard and rewriting stories to make for easier future stories is just lazy and lame. DC always slaps me in the face.

For your approval

I finished my eggs and wiped my mouth before firing the "piece" I had sitting in my lap. And yeah that's right Tom Anderson, in modern Crime we don't have crazy family names derived from our Italian or other ethnic backgrounds. We just have our middle-class family melting pot "welcome to America" names. I stand up and put two more bullets into my would be intimidator, before finishing the clip in his big dumb friend. There bodies fall into other peoples tables and blood ends up in their food. What a mess. I pull out my money clip I only have about a grand on me should be enough to compensate a little just have to be care not to leave my prints on the bills. I hand them out like sticks of gum, and leave the waitress with the rest of it. It sounded quit familiar, almost like the emergency broadcast system test that they sometimes run in the middle of the day between court shows and soap operas. What was weird was I was the only one who could hear it. My curiousity took control of my feet as I began to walk closer and closer to source of the sound. Five blocks later the sound began to hurt my ears and I slowed my pace in order to adjust to the sounded, I think my left ear is bleeding but I can't stop moving towards the sound. Another three blocks and all I could hear was this noise taking control of all of my senses. I couldn't bump into anyone because my skin was to sensitive, I stopped saying "Excuse me" because my vocal chords hurt to move. I found what I thought was the center of the sound or as close to it as I could there was an ambulance there for a car wreck. The work's were wheeling a older gentlemen in what looked like his sixties over to the back of the ambulance. The sound changed pitch when I made eye contact with him. There was shouting and chattering but I couldn't make any of it out. All I could do was look at this old man and watch as his life was slipping away. I don't know how I knew this but it was like I was watching his life flash before my eyes. I watched him take his first love to the prom only to have a drunk driver kill her three years later. I watched the birth of his first child, then his first grandchild. It was like he was looking at me but he wasn't. I kept seeing flashes of his face but when I'd focus he was looking at me at all. They got him in to the veichle and the sound picked up again. I could feel him and the sound a block away when the both stopped. The feelings stopped and I realized I was crying but didn't know when it had started. My ear was bleeding. The sound rang out one more time in the area I turned and watched as a man feel to the ground and for a second I saw his life too. But as this was happening I watched a man in a grey trench-coat with a black scarf wrapped around him letting go of the man's hand and then again the sound stopped. The crowd was in an up-roar again over the fallen dead man but I couldn't move I stood and watched as the man in the coat walked away and wondered what he had done or said to make that man fall down dead.

So I was going to write about Astonishing X-Men #16 and give this great review because I enjoyed the book a lot and liked all the questions it answered and all the new questions it asked. But then I sat here at the computer and just stopped caring. In the last 3 days my entire work life has been flipped upside down and it sucks. This happens to often to me in this job and I'm tired of it. I'm very good at handling change and adapting to new situations especially work. But when you've been on a failing management team that when it ended you were like never again will I have to work with these idiots. Well guess again. The worst part about this is that I really feel like I'm losing a friend more than a boss, I'm going to miss talking about the store and the district and the company it was always fun, we'd sit there and talk about all the disastrous shit that was happening and just be cool and positive I liked going into work and I haven't liked work in a long time. I had a boss that was willing to work with my career choices and now I have a lazy dumbass. He's a very nice person so I won't bash on his character but when it comes down to it he's a lousy manager and he tries to pretend that he's mister innocent in the business world when he's not. You could be the nicest person outside of work, inside though you play the same game as everyone else even if you don't announce it. And that's what pisses me off, at least have the balls to admit your no better than the rest of the dinosaur managers there don't act like you've changed and then come in and fall into the same routine you had 4 months ago seriously what the hell. Yet instead of firing his un-performing ass they ship him back to his old store and send my boss, my friend to fix another store on fire. It's hard wishing someone congratulation when you see how bad your about to get fucked by it. Oh well I'm taking it a day at a time and trying to be positive and everything I can but it doesn't help that I haven't been able to sleep for like 3 weeks now and already I'm having problems working with him. What's the point of having a management position if you're never allowed to be a manager? I'm finally ready to move on this is the straw that broke my back. But I do write more when I'm depressed so at least that get done now. :) Enjoy the comic!!!!

Phantasy Star Universe

Oh how I can't recall how many hours I stayed up playing this game when I should have been sleeping or doing college homework that probably would have helped me graduate sooner... and yet I miss those days more than any in my video game life. More than playing Vector-Man and unlocking all the extras and beating it in a solid 2 to 3 hours. More than the release of Halo 2 and the two years since I've played it. Phantasy Star on line was awesome for the Dreamcast, now my friends and I bought it for the Xbox when it came out and instantly started playing it but it was just a shiner version of what we had already played so it lost it's magic a lot quicker then I think any of us thought. But now there's a new version coming and it looks to capture the magic of the first. I'm super pumped for it, but I'm a little curious of which system to get obviously it's going to be on the 360 but it's also going to be on the PS2 now I like my 360 a whole hell of a lot but if I can play the same game and not be disappointed with the graphics on the PS2 and not be disappointed with the online then I might just do so. As always I wait for the reviews even though I know no matter what gamespot will give the PS2 version a lower score like they always do for it's games. I swear Sony pissed them off or something because they totally have it out for Sony it's always PS3 is to pricey and is going to fail, PSP is failing compared to the DS' numbers, they never rip on Xbox and hardly even mention Nintendo, it just seems like if your going to pride yourself on not being one side you should actually not be one sided. You can't compare a PS2 to a 360 it's not the same you can compare a game for PS2 to another PS2 game but you can't cross over anymore each machine is just far to different. I just want a review that doesn't talk about the other versions or the other titles by the same name just review the game that's in front of me because when I'm playing it I'm not thinking of the other platforms or the original or the sequels before or whatever I'm just playing that game and trying to enjoy it.

Something Awful

So every week Somethingawful.com has Photoshop Friday in which the take a photo or a theme and different people in the message boards take turns messing with it in photoshop. Last Fridays was Boardgame sequels. And it had a few gems in it including the one seen to your left. They also are now doing a regular video game review which focuses on one game and reviews it for all platforms and then a quick shot which give a one sentence review for the other games. Now it's completely not serious of course. But it is really funny I couldn't stop laughing it was quite good. And so here's a link to that along with my favorite quick shot.

Ninety Nine Nights

If overcoming one billion enemies with two attacks sounds like your idea of a good time, your name is probably John Cena and I probably just made a joke that half of our readers won't get. 7/10

Oh we've got a lot to talk about today!!!

So like a year ago or damn near a year ago, Adult Swim released 4 new shows all around the same time. There was Stroker and Hoop (Get the Hell out of here before I tell Vons' you've got there cart!) and Squidbillies also very funny. But then they're were two shows that I just never got around to seeing, sure they were very popular, no not as popular as Robot Chicken aka please stop making this show I have weird humor and even I don't find it funny yet it's the number one show and one of the top downloaded shows on the internet. So these shows, 12oz. Mouse and Perfect Hair forever, they're created by the same guy and voiced by several adultswim regulars. Well I just got around to watching them today... and well they weren't worth the wait. 12oz. Mouse I almost wanted to like because it's so F'ing weird that it should be up my alley but I guess I'm to attached to actual story telling to like it. If it just followed mouse and his squirrel companion then I think I would laugh and like it but they cut to these other assholes or give them to much screen time (I know there cartoons and screen time sound ridiculous but that's what it is) Mouse makes me laugh when he orders a drink and has to have 12 each time, hence the 12oz Mouse part but the funny part is that characters he's never meet know he needs 12 beers. "Hey Mouse you want the usual? Or do you need 12 at once?" The only other part that made me laugh was him flying his car thingy upside down drinking. It's poorly drawn which I get is the point but it's kinda a waste of time to watch it. We have all this technology and you choose to draw with crayons and microsoft paint... Show some skills it just seems like your ripping me off more than anything else. The whole 6 episodes probably cost 100 dollars to make and then they'll sell a DVD for 25 bucks. You do the math. Disappointed because if they stuck to the formula of the first episode it would have been okay but they tired to get a running story line that connects through each episode and that's where it went wrong.

So then there's Perfect Hair Forever which I liked the pilot episode even if the labeled it a new Space Ghost episode my brother and I were so disappointed when it wasn't but ended up enjoying the show. Well other than the Flying Hot Dog and the guy in the Cat Suit that doesn't know he's in a cat suit it pretty much sucks. Carl from Aqua Teen does a voice but it gets old real quick and he doesn't call the Transformer knock off gay enough. Only running gag that's funny is the Anime sailor Moon Girl that wears a tong and a mini mini mini skirt, every time she does anything Uncle Grandfather runs and "trips" and ends up looking up her skirt. The only episode I could really sit through was Happy Suck Day because it used the Danger Doom song named after the show and it had the Cat/Bun War wear the old dude negotiated the end of the war. "Seriously.. sign.. I've got other things to do today.. General Meow.. Captain French Bun... sign... please.." So I really hope that Adult Swim will stop green lighting this assholes shows I already have one Tom Goes to the Mayor I don't need any other lazy un-funny shows.

Adult Swim really has changed from what it started off at, it has the market on adult humored and theme cartoons and yet it constantly makes shitty decisions. It screwed Venture Bros over for like two years and now it's one of it's most watched shows. I couldn't even find it to download except on one site and then it was like 300 people now its like 3000 people and that's just on that site. Right now it's target is Futurama to screw over. Futurama and Family Guy are the two shows that got Adult Swim any money and granted they are responsible for both shows being saved from rerun city. Of course now Family Guy sucks and is on more than the Simpsons and really people just watch it because of the hype and shock factor that's it. But Futurama which always got better ratings on AS but had slower DVD releases (but quality releases) is now stuck on AS until 2008. In which new episodes, or movies that they made for DVD release will be chopped up into episodes will premiere. First I don't want a movie chopped up so that I absolutely have to follow the whole thing that's not the way Futurama works and secondly it's going to go right back on the chopping block or take a turn for the worst ale Family Guy by the time it gets on air. I wish AS would just take some money from Fox or Comedy Central and release the rights so that new episodes could premiere as it is I'll now get to watch the same episodes over and over until there's no joy left and then do it all over again on CC. Thanks adult swim like you wouldn't have gotten the rerun rights again, like you really need to air the same 4 seasons over and over until no ones watching anymore. It makes me sad because Futurama is truly my favorite cartoon of all time, I like it better than Aqua Teen, Home Movies, and Sea Lab 2020 combined.

How Very Sad...

So since I've had to give up buying my beloved comic books, I can't really post a new review for a comic, I've downloaded everything I've missed but it's just not the same, I can't get into it I need the feel, to turn the pages to check the corners. It's beginning to bum me out pretty bad I've missed so much and there's so many new titles that I was just waiting for that now I'm missing. I'm typing this real quick before I sit down and watch Capote, I'm so freaking behind on just watching movies I real haven't a damn clue on where all my time goes I don't even sit in front of the internet as much anymore and yet there it goes tick tick tick. I got my second paycheck from the Shield job today and I was for 150.00 more than what I was expecting I guess hard work does pay off, and it's tax free it's an actual check out of a check book how dope is that? It'll help but I'm still S.O.L. on books. Well I do have a few comics I want to talk about so here you go!

Now today's isn't that funny but I love the quirky art and well there's a dog in it and frankly any time there's a dog in a comic strip it's a winner. I'll post a better one from this one which is called DUPLEX by the way, but yeah just look at that art I love it.

So here's today's suckfest strip.
Notice how it's a total FarSide rip off? That's because it is, they way this ass hole draws people is even a direct rip off of FarSide, It's not funny, and is pathetic that this guy is even syndicated, I can't stand it. I'm not even going to waste anymore time ripping it because it sucks so bad.

Later.

Well It's Been A Long Time!

Well for starters I think everyone should check out this most awesome movie review on Something Awful. It made me laugh, and then laugh some more it was really Fing funny. The best line is on the second page 5th paragraph. Ah man is it funny.

So I went to Vegas this past weekend for my girlfriends friends wedding, It was a fast nice wedding not too many people mostly old. Food was bland and not very good and the cake was okay. It was at the Rio and everyone was faking how much they liked the food but I think they paid a lot and got very little out of it but hey what do I know. Lost some money not too much, I had some luck but ended up still losing, I liked the Bellagio the best and I don't hate Vegas as much as I use to, I still do a little because my girlfriend and I had not one but two arguments both in the car one each way so that sucked but it was still fun really could only see going back once. It was a really weird place to go after living in LA for almost a year now. It's hard to explain I guess it wasn't what I thought it was going to be, but really if you don't have money it's just kinda fun, I had no money but still had a lot of fun, but would like to have done more. I'm lacking the words I want to use on this so I'll move on for now.

Actually I have to get ready for work I was going to add a comic on the end of this but I'm out of time so later tonight perphaps.

My New Hobby

S0 I've taken up downloading comic strips, I know you're wondering why the hell doesn't he just get a newspaper or go to a coffee shop or whatever. See I enjoy reading the comics from different newspapers, each city has local strips and different major strips and the download I've found which will remain anonymous has all the major ones and others that I've never even heard of there's some really crappy ones too! Like the one above, I'm assuming from the art and out of date fashion displayed within the strip that this is a golden oldie which unfortunately the download doesn't have to many good ones. It has Heathcliff and um I don't know some really crappy ones, there's Calvin and Hobbes and Peanuts but I've already read all of those so there no fun. But back to Wee Pals... Why the hell is that fat kid wearing a blazer? This strip is about prejudice but every character looks like a racial stereotype, also you don't shade with white, I don't know what the fuck art school this out of date fuck went to but he made those kids look as old as this strip really is. Now I don't think prejudices are a joke or a laughing mater or subject that's been fixed or solved but I do think that this strip is a little past it's prime if it's talking like the civil rights movement is just now happening. Seriously I love it when really old strips keep getting made and the don't modernize at all Dennis the Menace never changes and that's what's great about it. It breaks my heart when the do. IE Beetle Bailey and sometimes Blondie. Have you noticed the lack of the Mail-Man in Blondie in the last 5 years? Only when the really want to capture a Classic Blondie moment do they bring him back it's sad. But this comic strip needs to shut down shop because it's got DATED written all over it. I mean what the F's with the civil war potato sack of a hat on the kid on the end? What the F! Seriously I went through today's comics and was torn between like 10 really bad ones outside of Cathy and Family Circus which I hate, and I choose this one over all of them... Wee Pals blows! The Wall has spoken!

Thoughts

I think that I'm giving my equal amount of chances to mess up in life but it seems that I either constantly let people down or have my mistakes rubbed in my face. I'm just trying to go through this because I've got a lot on my mind and I want to psycho-analysis myself and maybe figure out why for the last seven months I've been nothing more than a screw up of sorts. My relationships, my friendships and work have all been in chaos. I just for some reason can't stop screwing up and it'll be on something minor but it'll turn into something huge, like forgetting my phone and not getting to work with Chiklis today. Something so minor that turns into something huge. Or entering the building alone at work because the other person didn't show up and won't be there for an hour plus, then getting a Write up for it. Constantly at work this happens I'll forget something or do something different than what was asked and even though it's the same in the end I didn't follow the steps. I don't try to mess up or let people down and when I come through I come through I make it to where you can't live with out me when I'm gone at least my ego would like to think that I know it's not entirely true but I've been thank for coming back from a day off or vacation. I didn't do anything I just came back and did what I do and made things work again. But I never seem to get credit for anything other than the screw ups, maybe I need to find a better balance so that expectations aren't so high that when I so drop the ball no one knows or don't really care. It's like greatness is expected from me constantly and it's kinda always been like that with my parents, school, teachers, band, art, friends, does every breath I take have to change the world? Does yours? Why is it when I breath I'm a let down then? This really isn't directed towards one event but rather multiple that have pushed me over the edge to write this, forgetting my phone last night was what did it I'll kick myself for ever for it. Just have to keep trying keep working harder and maybe I'll get to work with him on something I've written or want to direct. Positive thoughts are the key to happiness. 724432786227398651 that was to see if I still remembered it I'm reading a book on how to improve your memory skills kinda works I'm good at the numbers and bad with words probably because I can't spell very well so it makes it harder to remember them. Any ways peace out.

YOU SEE THAT MAN?!!

That's Micheal Chiklis... And he's more BAD ASS than Shaft and the Terminator put together! When talks you shut your goddamn mouth and listen and I just blew my fucking chance to meet him and I'm so goddman pissed about it I might just piss blood later! BUT we have a long way to get there before I just drop the bomb on why.

On Thursday and Friday I got to go to work with my friend on a PA job I'm not going to explain what that is it's not important right now. My room-mate and I were both there and basically it was a Balley's ooops sorry Balley Total Fitness can't say the "S" at the end. You know I did nothing but work out at a Balley's HA! for 30 days and look at how great I look after a hair cut and someone buying me nice clothes to wear. The commerical sucked but the EXPERIANCE was great so many great people and great things. We started off unpaid just to get experiance and ended up impressing them so much that we got paid for the first day and invited back for the second. Finished the second which wasn't much work just time consuming and a lot of standing around. Then I got to drop off the equipment with my friend on saturday so all my days off and sleep in time I'm working on 11 days of work including my full-time job and now I'm off tomorrow but I'm going to clean up after todays shoot with Chiklis... that right the TV spots already shot and in the can, Spielbergs DP shot it too! My friend got to work side by side with Chiklis and Shane all day, cracking jokes cleaning him off and picking him up out of a hole, all fucking day next to him!!!!!!!!!!! And I could have been there had I not forgotten my phone at work! My friend had called me earlier to tell me that he couldn't get me on, then he called me at 11:30 because they called him saying they needed 2 more guys!!!!!!!!!!! AHHHHHHHH!!!! WHY'D I FORGET MY FUCKING PHONE!!! WHY? oh well there's always the next job hopefully tomorrow will be good and I'll make another contact and just have fun being there.

More Like One Guy Beats The Shit Out Of Another

So I downloaded this, that's right DOWNLOADED. Why? Because why the hell would I pay for this? I also downloaded the 2nd volume as well. You want to know why America has guns? Because these guys can't fight for shit! Between the two volumes there's only like 2 maybe 3 interesting fights, that's it. Now there is something to break up the monotony of the fighting and you guessed it, boobies. Unfortunately the girls are not that good looking the boob jobs are kinda bad and it gets boring watching them dance in different underwear and kinda flash boobs... I'll just say it one of them looks like a man who got a sex change... Anyways it gets boring just like the fighting. There was a messed up fight where this chick had ratted out her "gang" and these people found her in a car hiding, the started jumping on the roof of the car then the guy who owned the car unlocked the doors and let them at her. So after the tear half her clothes out and have kicked and hit her several times in the head the drag her out and men and women beat the shit out of her, who knows how half of these end some jack ass narrator just says that the cops showed up or something typical no real closer to any fight. The best part is the narration though the guy would say down the street at the other fight happening at the same time on the same day... Yeah right! The other part that rules is the title graphics which say things like Saved By The Bell, or Picnic In The Park 2... I never saw 1 but hey whatever. So I mentioned the boobies right? Well the other super chessey thing is that they recycle the same footage for the second one but longer scenes... And they use this CLIP from Ghetto Fights that's also the same... All in all I've talked about this for far to long but hey screw you it's my blog so there. So if you want to see some pathetic fighting go for it!

This Is DOPE!

DC Comics I want my 3 dollars back!

Check out the synopsis First!

So there's a couple of things wrong with this overview provided by DC. First this reeks of knock off. There's a book by Marvel called Nextwave Agents of H.A.T.E. that pairs a bunch of wacky characters together and loads it with plenty of action and comedy. The difference being that Marvel's book is actually really good the art fits it and it's Warren Ellis so it's hard to go wrong. Now as far as Next is concerned I hate it when books have too many dialogue and caption boxes, it's like your narrating the story twice.

I gave up halfway through the book and just read dialogue then gave up on that when Super-Man showed up. He's on the cover but doesn't show up until like the 4th from last page, and there practically using him to sell the book since he's on all the covers. Note the cover art GOOD, the inside art... is OKAY, its not as good as the cover art though. I think it's import that for a mini-series or new series that you have a 1st issue cover fromthe artist inside because a lot of people will pick up the 1st issue and see that it's different inside and not read the rest of the series unless it's really really good. I'm trying not to swear as I write this I almost did tee hee. I'm not going to bore you with the story, the writer might have had some hits or whatever but I can tell from my own writing experiences that sometimes when you have this great idea you have to slow down and really introduce people to the world slowly, granted this is a mini-series but all mini's start with the hope of launching a monthly title.I think if Tad Williams had just left the history of the story a mystery I might buy the next issue, but I'm not going to. As far as origin issues go this one was horrible, un-original and boring, plus a total misuse of Super-Man. The guy has his powers back for like 6 days and already he's doing lame mis-adventures because the fabric of the galaxy is in disorder, and you make a New God appearance before Grant Morrison does anything with them? Lame! I did like the art inside but I really felt ripped off by this book and that hasn't happened in a long time, and that's why DC doesn't do mini's and Marvel makes a killing with them. Peace out!

Um... I wanted to work on the stuff that would appear on the side but I don't know how to do that yet so I'm typing this instead. I beat Katamari Damacy today, I had it for a year but never played the last level, the best part was getting to role up all the continents of the planet with the moon you've made, and it lists them on the side, pretty cool. And there's a picture of it, wow that's actually pretty cool. I'll probably talk about a comic that's been bugging me after this. Thanks to anyone who actually read this.

<link rel='alternate' type='text/html' href='http://todayikilledmybestfriend.blogspot.com/2006/07/um-my-first-post.html' title='Um...
